OUR MISSION
Occupy Columbus, Indiana exists solely toward proactively helping organize, publicize, and educate the Columbus and surrounding communities on the Occupy Wall Street global movement. We do not have any other agenda outside of this at this time. We stand by the developing mission of Occupy Wall St., but we are not representatives for Occupy Wall St.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
As we watched over the internet across ...the nation reacting to this movement, we decided to set up a page on facebook to help be a part of the solution of bringing to awareness of the Corporatocracy that controls this nation and much of this world. Many of us can not be there with our brothers and sisters in NYC and, like us, wanted to do something. Occupy Columbus, Indiana is our way of participating in the events, in spirit and solidarity, in order to support those organizing and demonstrating in various cities and states across America and world.

We are a group of individuals concerned for the many issues present and growing in our communities. A group interested in providing a new vision to solve the many issues of the 21st century.

PARTICIPATION WITH OCCUPY COLUMBUS, INDIANA
If you are interested in participating with us but unsure on what you can do, please contact us. There are many ways you can help with the movement. Active participants can organize work groups (please contact us for a list). Participants who have limited free time can join in by attending future demonstrations and events. Anyone can spread the message to raise our community's awareness of the many issues stemming from corporate greed in our nation and world.
