4 weeks / Saturday / Nov 5th 2011 / march to Queen's Park in solidarity with First Nations.

As we marched, Valerie & I discovered we had something very much in common. Her father was born in Liverpool & she was raised in Blackpool, a seaside town 55kms north of Liverpool, famous for its annual illuminations of billboard size storybook characters along the promenade strip. To go to 'Blackpool Lights' was a ritual that my Dad indulged his 5 children in every year..... we'd drive along the seafront road in a crawl of bottleneck traffic. A trip that never failed to enthrall *~*
