Abstract Note
Occupy El Paso is a peaceful protest founded in soldarity with those occupying Wall Street in New York: men and women of all races, backgrounds, and religious beliefs who took a stand against authority to fight for what they believe in. In joining with their cause, we aim to end corporate greed, to achieve a more transparent government, to put power back in the hands of American citizens, and to ensure a better future for ourselves and future generations.
We are currently located in San Jacinto Plaza downtown, where many of us are camping out. Please stop by anytime to check us out!
We have general assemblies every night at 7 PM, and everyone is free to come join us for that to see what we're all about.
