Abstract Note
I. Intros
II. Sheet passed around where attendees could write down what the Occupy movement means to them and how their own lives are affected by issues
III. Discussion of ‘ground rules’
IV. Minutes from previous meeting were read, in which September 29th statement from Occupy Wall Street was read and the group agreed in solidarity.
V. Discussion on OccupyND and their proposed October 31st event. Possible statement from OccupyFargo-Moorhead reaffirming commitment to peace and integrity.
VI. Discussion on American Crystal Sugar lockout and the workers’ rally on Saturday, October 8th. Individuals will post to Occupy Fargo Moorhead to let others know they are attending the rally.
VII. Subcommittees. Four were proposed. Sign-up sheets were passed around. These are tentative committees and can be changed as needed.
VIII. Possible locations for future meetings
IX. Next meeting will be Sunday, October 9th, 3pm at the Red Raven. Meet and greet from 2-3pm)
