Abstract Note
Occupy Fort Lauderdale Arts & Culture Committee uses art as protest through signs, street theatre, murals, music and literature.
Our goal is to create a community within Broward County as a voice for social and economic justice. We seek to air the dirty laundry of the corporate masters through the medium of art. The art establishment has long been untouchable by the people, remaining only a novelty for kings and queens. Today uber wealthy hobbiest own the worlds most valuable art artifacts. Art is the Voice of the people and it has been supressed. Art is our expression, our fingerprint and the soul of the human race. We declare an Art War against the theives that have stolen that humanity from us.
