We started off with a few people, but as we were approaching noon, we had between 100 to 150 people there!  At first, there were two people that came to cause an issue, but that was quickly resolved.  Overall, it was very peaceful and we all got along great!  Some people brought food, water, signs and megaphones!

Several of us offered to speak to the group and we also began assembling committees for different functions and asking people what they would like to volunteer to help with!

After the noon march, many got together with committee groups to exchange information and organize together.  The different committees all agreed to maintain communications, and Doni was coordinating email addresses for them.

Occupy Fort Worth - 99 percent vs. 1 percent

There is a telephone switchboard network in the works to offer information to the public about Occupy Fort Worth, which will be available soon.  Organizers and Committees will have telephone conferences available to them as well.

I am not able to say anything in conclusion as this Occupy Fort Worth event does not have a definite expiration date.  In line with Occupy Wall Street, the occupation will continue until issues at hand are addressed.

I think it turned out well and it will only get better and better!  We are the 99%!  We are here to stay!  Our voice will be heard!
