Abstract Note
We, the Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne,
~Concerned at the stagnation of wages and salaries of working men and women in the United States;
~Aware of the growing numbers of American families, children and the elderly living at or below poverty levels;
~Concerned at the growing sense of powerlessness of many Americans who are losing faith that they can improve their increasingly desperate situation through established governmental institutions or processes;
EXPRESS OUR UNANIMOUS SYMPATHY WITH AND SUPPORT FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF OCCUPY FORT WAYNE, INDIANA IN THEIR NONVIOLENT DEMONSTRATION AT HEADWATERS PARK, AND URGE CITY OFFICIALS TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE FACILITIES AND SUPPORT.
