Abstract Note
Occupy Fort Wayne would like to state to the community of Fort Wayne and surrounding locations, that while we do stand in solidarity with the global Occupy Movement, including Occupy Oakland, despite the violent confrontations between the Occupiers and the Police forces that may have been the result of non-cooperative communication between both parties.
In Fort Wayne, communication between the City Police and the Occupiers has thus far been cooperative and peaceful. We would like to thank the City Police for being as communicative as they have been with us. We will continue to maintain an active and peaceful relationship between ourselves and the city officials, as well as the community-at-large.
