Abstract Note
The Occupation of Washington, DC at Freedom Plaza joined the Tar Sands Protest. We came with our Occupy Earth sign to let them know we were with the Occupy Movement that challenges both corrupt political parties. Crystal Zevon reports that the White House was surrounded two fold and could have been surrounded more. Reportedly 12,000 people participated. Many of the protesters came to Freedom Plaza before and after the event. And, lots of people were taking photographs and videos of the Occupy Earth signs.
