Abstract Note
In April, 2010, at the World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Nature in Cochabamba, Bolivia, the "Universal Declaration of the Rights of Nature" (http://therightsofnature.org/universal-declaration/) came into being. This Universal Declaration, including a Preamble and several Articles, was presented to the General Assembly of the UN in April of 2011 for adoption by that body as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations of the world.
