Occupy Gainesville, Occupy UF Demonstrate Together
Occupy Gainesville is about engaging the people of our community in grassroots, participatory democracy. We are about diversity and dialogue. Our focus is economic, social, and environmental justice, at the local, national, and global level.In response to Occupy Oakland’s call for Day of Mass Action and in solidarity with Occupy Movements worldwide, Occupy Gainesville will demonstrate to draw attention to infringements upon our fundamental human rights to freedom of speech and assembly.
We encourage everyone to come and tell their story and exercise their 1st Amendment rights!
