In solidarity with Occupy Wall Street demonstrators and the rest of the 99%, we Occupy Grand Rapids!
Description
Arising out of frustrations with corporate greed & control over politics and the overwhelming disparity between the wealth of the top 1% and the other 99% of the people in solidarity with Occupy Wall St.
We are the 99%! You are the 99%!

General Assemblies are held at Base Camp (Fountain St. Church) Tuesdays at 6pm, Thursdays at 6pm and Sundays at 2pm. People are encouraged to be out there every day.

Metered street parking, free on the weekends and after 5pm daily
Closest other free street parking options are East of Lafayette (if you go up the hill) You would have to walk a few blocks to find us.
Overnight occupation is in the Fountain St Church's parking lot
They were gracious enough to give us access 24 hrs on their "porch"
We are developing a workshop//small group schedule. If you have an idea for a small group or workshop or the schedule, please stop by and talk to someone. Get the ball rolling on your idea. You can post here but with steady stream, there is a chance you'll get missed.
