1) Harrisonburg is home to many activists and occupants who for years have been working, slogging, envisioning and often succeeding at finding answers to many of the questions the Occupy movement presents. I want this movement to honor those smart, tenacious people while connecting them with others who have new energy.

2) Taking my body down to the public square is a tremendously powerful experience. On a daily basis we objectify, torture, medicate, heat, cool, encase, our bodies into a completely passive state. What doesn’t occur to us is how powerful simply being physically present in our bodies is.

3) Everything is connected. So we can just start anywhere on what is broken. This is where I choose to begin.
