Abstract Note
We are an amorphous collective of individuals in Portland, OR dedicated to fixing a society which has been stolen from the people. We stand in solidarity with the general principles and the participants of Occupy Wall Street.
We provide a forum for discussion, because traditional media no longer provides such a forum. We provide a means of direct participation, because our government no longer listens to those without large sums of cash.
We are apolitical in the sense that we do not intend to become another pawn in the broken, hijacked political system. We are also quite political in the sense that, by definition, we are composed of the vast majority of the body politic and seek to effect change on many of the issues that plague our nation and world—the economic and the social, the ethical and the moral.
We are the 99%. You are the 99%. This is a new kind of politics
