The early days of Occupy Eureka in front of the Humboldt County Courthouse

I was active in #occupyeureka from October 2011 until February 2012. Eureka, California is on the north coast, about 100 miles from the Oregon border

Although I was not comfortable sleeping at the courthouse (I am a single mother with no training in direct action), I was able to participate on a daily basis during the timeframe that this video portrays. My participation after the raids declined, but I tried to stay active behind the scenes whenever possible.
