Occupying the Arcata Plaza on October 16, 2011

I was most active with Occupy Eureka, but also participated in the occupation of the Arcata Plaza

Although I was not comfortable sleeping at the courthouse (I am a single mother with no training in direct action), I was able to participate on a daily basis during the timeframe that this picture portrays. My participation after the raids declined, but I tried to stay active behind the scenes whenever possible.
