Retaking the Courthouse following the first raid

This picture was taken during a rally following the first raid on Occupy Eureka. Occupy Humboldt (HSU) and Occupy Arcata came down Highway 101 to show their support as the courthouse lawn was reoccupied.

Although I was not comfortable sleeping at the courthouse (I am a single mother with no training in direct action), I was able to participate on a daily basis during the timeframe that this picture portrays. My participation after the raids declined, but I tried to stay active behind the scenes whenever possible.
